Quietly won their fourth Rook Tournament last year breezing to a 5-0 record. Being the defending champ, only four time winner, and eight top four finishes makes them an easy choice at #1 seed. |

Bounced back last year to their old form with a second place finish after a two year drought. They rank near the top in power ratings, winning percentage, and have been in the finals five of their seven tournaments together. Joyce has played in all seventeen tournaments and leads all Rook players with 76 power rating points. |

Shelly & Beth play their worst Rook (2-4 record) after they win a championship.
It happened last year and in the 1997. This will be the sixth time they have
been seeded #3 (15-7 record). The last two times they have responded with a
second and first place finish. |

With their retirement in 1998 and poor showing in 2004, they may have lost some of their swagger but anytime this team is playing they are well respected and are strong contendors for the championship. They rank #1 in the Tournament power ratings with an average of 6.18 per Tournament and this will only be fourth time in twelve Tournaments they have not been the first or second seed. |

The first of two sets of 2006 graduates to play in this year's Tournament. Ben & Kyle finished third last year and had a fourth place in 2002. It is just a matter of time before we will see them playing for a championship. This is their highest seeding to date. |

The other set of the class of 2006 took several years before they figured out how to play the game. Despite a 9-20 overall record in 10 Tournaments, Luke & Chad have a 6-6 record in the last three Tournaments and finished in 4th place last year. Lots of upside with this team but will need to prove last year wasn't a fluke |

Have placed (mostly 3rd & 4th) in eight of the sixteen Tournaments they have particiapted in. Since 2002 they have followed a pattern of placing and then playing horrible. It is their turn to place so watch out. |

Have not really done much since finishing 4th in 2003 when they won four straight games in the loser's bracket. This will be their 5th Tournament together and Ashley's 12th overall. |

Kristy & Tiffany have the distinction of playing in the most games (59) and Tournaments (14) without winning the trophy. Hopefully one day they will get this monkey off their back. |

We welcome back the Macon, Georgia representatives after missing their first ever Tournament last year. Since winning the 1997 Tournament, they have managed just a 9-14 record (.391) and we wonder how the layoff will impact them. |

Only new team to participate this year. Erin has played in three prior Tournaments with minimal success (3-6). It will be a crash course for Kyle to learn who to play the game. Please make him feel welcome and don't run the score up. |
